Savannah James, the wife of LeBron James, broke down in tears when she found out that the restaurant in Akron, Ohio, where she and her future husband went on their first date, was shutting.
She shared her thoughts on the closure of the restaurant in their hometown after 30 years of business on Instagram.
In an emotional post, Savannah James described how the restaurant had a significant role in the beginning of her relationship with LeBron.
This 37-year-old mother of three posted an image of the steakhouse:
“Noooooo @kingjames!!! Out first date memories“
LeBron replied with,
“OMFG!!!!!Why why why”
When Savannah James was sixteen years old and a sophomore at Buchtel High School, she first made the acquaintance of LeBron.
She revealed in an interview with Cleveland Magazine that she was initially invited to a game by the then-up-and-coming basketball star, which was followed by a get-together of pals at a nearby Applebee’s.

She claimed that after seeing how sincere his intentions were, she fell in love with the future NBA great and they have been together ever since.

LeBron James’ future with the Lakers remains in doubt
Los Angeles Lakers are now ranked ninth in the Western Conference with a record of 33-28. They prevailed in the league’s In-Season Tournament earlier this season, earning them the NBA Cup.
With the possibility of becoming a free agency this offseason, the Lakers star’s future is in doubt. He has the option to decline a player contract for the 2024–25 campaign.
Though it is uncertain if that is a realistic scenario, there has been some talk that LeBron James would return to Cleveland before his career ends. In the 2016 NBA Finals, the Cavaliers surprised the Golden State Warriors, and the 20-time All-Star assisted the team in winning their first NBA championship.
James is averaging 25/7/7 with a field goal percentage of over 52%. In his 21st season, he has proven to be an able no.1 for the Los Angeles Lakers.
