Mark Cuban Takes A Lighthearted Jab At LeBron James’ Longevity
LeBron James is entering his 22nd NBA season and his first season with his son, Bronny James. Despite entering his second decade in the league, the Lakers legend shows no signs of slowing down in his performance.
Recently, Mavericks minority owner Mark Cuban addressed LeBron’s impressive longevity during an interview with TMZ Sports. Cuban, who recently shared reasons for selling the Mavs team, jokingly urged LeBron to consider retirement.
“Yes, LeBron, it’s time for you to quit. I’m tired of you. I’m being serious only because he’s still so good. He’s on the Lakers; they’re our rivals. So, it’s time to retire, LeBron,” Cuban said.
With LeBron, the Lakers recently concluded their preseason with a 2-4 record. They will begin their regular season on Tuesday against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
