Two-time Defensive Player of the Year Kawhi Leonard is having a tremendous year for the Toronto Raptors this season, but he is rumored to be moving on after the 2018-2019 season/playoffs come to an end.
On Thursday night, the Los Angeles Lakers were in town and Leonard, who was born in Los Angeles and played his college ball at San Diego State, seemingly has the Lake Show as one of the teams he would like to go to, but it’s hard to tell at times due to his introverted nature.
However, those rumors are set to gain steam once again following the Lakers’ game against the Toronto Raptors, where LeBron James and Kawhi Leonard shared an embrace and a few words.
NBA cameras captured LeBron allegedly saying “we’ll be in touch.”
In his first season with the Raptors, Kawhi is averaging a career-high 27 points per game in addition to 7.4 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.8 steals per night.
Toronto, 49-20, is currently the second seed in the Eastern Conference, 2.5 games back of the Milwaukee Bucks.
