As one would expect, LeBron James is going through a very rough time right now.
Earlier this week, his son Bronny was reported to have suffered a heart incident while practicing with the USC squad and had to be rushed to the hospital after collapsing.
The 18-year-old committed to playing for the Trojans after holding out for several months and was expected to suit up for the team for a year before declaring for the 2024 NBA Draft. We can’t be sure how things will turn out in that regard, but his health is obviously his family’s priority at the moment.
Bronny is said to be doing a lot better since Monday but it’s also been communicated that LBJ is not doing well. He’s been described as “scared and devastated.”
“LeBron is ‘making sure he gets the best care possible’ and has entered ‘full Dad mode’ and is protecting his son in any way he can,” DailyMail.co.uk reports, citing a source.
“Cardiologists have warned that Bronny’s career – which was only just beginning following his high school graduation — could already be over,” the Mail adds.

“If they find something that puts him at a high risk for sudden death then that … may make or break his career,” Dr Christopher Tanayan was also quoted as saying.
The situation appears to still be very serious. It was previously reported that Bronny’s quick return from the ICU was of great encouragement to LeBron and his wife Savannah, who are very keen on finding out what caused their son’s heart to stop. Still, there’s no way they can rest easy at this point in time.
We at TotalProSports wish the James family the very best.
