LeBron James is being heavily blasted online after the NBA superstar was seen cosigning controversial artist Tory Lanez.
If you are not aware, Lanez is entrenched in an assault case where he’s being accused of allegedly shooting Megan Thee Stallion in both of her feet in July 2020. Basically, anything to do with him gets met with instant backlash.
King James did not seem to care after an NBA podcaster tweeted, “love him or hate him. The Lanez Of Tory consistently makes damn good music.”
LeBron commented under his tweet saying, “FACTS!!! He never misses. That boy talented as hell man! Bangers for days!!”
Big mistake as many would go online and claim that LeBron was now against Black women for supporting a man who hurt one.
“What a thing to wake up and see. What a betrayal to all the Black Women who have had Lebron’s back. Wow. I’m actually speechless. This tweet is a DECISION OF SUPPORT for a man who shot Megan multiple times. The lack of value we are shown as Black Women has no depths.”

While Tory’s case against Meg has yet to be settled or resolved, there are a lot of people who see Tory as guilty, which has many calling LeBron a hypocrite.
LeBron James maybe 37 years old but he still averaged 30.3 points per game with Los Angeles Lakers last season. Overall, he averaged 30.3 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 6.2 assists in 56 games last season, even coming up on the MVP radar multiple times throughout the year.
Last month, the Lakers and LeBron agreed to a two-year, $97.1 million contract extension that includes a player option for the 2024-25 season.
With the deal, the four-time NBA champion and MVP and 18-time All-Star eliminates the concern that he could enter free agency next summer.
