Los Angeles Lakers star forward LeBron James is the epitome of longevity. The NBA’s all-time scoring leader will enter his 22nd season in October 2024. Fans are excited to watch the first father-son duo in the NBA, as the Lakers drafted Bronny James in the summer.
The 39-year-old leads the NBA in scoring records across the regular season and playoffs. In 2022, LeBron James became the first active NBA player to enter the $1 billion club, earning around $480 million in pretax salary from his NBA teams. In February 2023, the Lakers star broke legendary Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s 34-year-old scoring record.
While James has ruled the all-time categories in the NBA, his incredible playoff record speaks volumes for his greatness. However, there are many milestones still left for the four-time NBA champion. In the last season, LeBron averaged 25.7 points on shooting 54.1% from the field and 41% from the three-point line, alongside 7.3 rebounds and 8.3 assists.
Let’s take a look at some milestones and records LeBron James could break in the 2024-25 season.
