LeBron James has seemingly offered a reaction to Kyrie Irving’s trade request.
The point guard has reportedly asked the Brooklyn Nets to trade him before the deadline on February 9, letting the team know he will leave as a free agent if he isn’t moved before then.
LeBron has made little secret of wanting to team up with Kyrie again after they won a championship together in Cleveland and, following the news of the controversial star’s trade request, posted a cryptic tweet that suggests he’s monitoring the situation.

The report of Irving wanting to be dealt this month was broken by NBA insider Shams Charania. While Kyrie has been playing great basketball since he returned, it’s no surprise that he wants out as there must have been bad feelings given the way the Nets treated him following that infamous tweet.
The Nets will likely be hesitant to trade the guard as they have put a lot into him and are title contenders as a direct result of his partnership with Kevin Durant.

Durant might also want out now that Kyrie could be gone within a week’s time. Other teams should be monitoring that as well.
