The NBA Finals are set to begin tonight, but that apparently wasn’t the only thing on LeBron James’ mind.
The Los Angeles Lakers star hasn’t been home in L.A. for over three months now since leaving with his team for the NBA Bubble at Disney World, but he still found time to close on a new home in Beverly Hills that was previously owned by the creator of the soap opera “The Young and The Restless,” Lee Phillip Bell, for a price of $36 million, per TMZ.
Per Hilton & Hyland, James is purchasing a four-bedroom, eight-bedroom, 9,146-square foot mansion with a view of both downtown Los Angeles as well as the Pacific Ocean. It contains two suites, seven fireplaces, a screening room, two separate guest houses, a lighted tennis court and a pool.
James also bought a $21 million house in Brentwood in 2015, then a second $23 million house in the same area in 2018.
The future hall of famer has more than $300 million in career earnings, more than $80 million more due to him in the next two years.
