Many celebrities have come to catch a glimpse of LeBron in action and Jay-Z has been one of the most common faces in many of the games LBJ played. Their friendship is no secret to any of us, and now LeBron is ready to link up with another music industry icon, Eminem.
The two have collaborated on their latest project, “How Music Got Free”, a two-part documentary series set to air on Paramount+. In a recently released trailer, the “Rap God” is seen alongside the likes of 50 Cent, Timbaland, Jimmy Iovine, Rhymefest and other prominent artists from the music industry.
LeBron and Eminem have co-produced the docuseries with Alex Stapleton as the director. LeBron’s love for music is common knowledge as he is often seen vibing to the latest bangers. But his taste in music is not something of a recent occurrence as he has shown his taste in music for quite a while now.
LeBron James’ Love for Music
Growing up in Akron, Ohio, LeBron grew up with the booming hip-hop culture in the 90s, hence his liking for that specific genre is understandable.
In 2021, he even expressed the desire to launch a rap album. Of course, he wouldn’t have used his voice in it as he pointed out that he has a number of capable acquaintances in that department.
