LeBron James teaming up with Bugs Bunny and the Looney Tunes is getting closer and closer to being seen on the big screen.
This week, the Los Angeles Lakers superstar dropped pictures from Space Jam: A New Legacy, also known as Space Jam 2, which began filming in June 2019.
The pictures above show LeBron on the cover of the magazine wearing the Tune Squad’s teal uniforms while being surrounded by the Looney Tunes, such as Bug Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Lola Bunny, and Tweety Bird.
Twenty-five years ago, the original Space Jam took flight with Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan and Looney Tunes all-star Bugs Bunny as they teamed up with the rest of the Tune Squad to take down the Monstars.
A new generation now gets to experience another Space Jam movie with another all-time NBA great. Aside from the four-time NBA champion, Space Jam: A New Legacy will also star Don Cheadle and Sonequa Martin-Green and will also reportedly include several NBA and WNBA players making cameo appearances.
