LeBron James, the star player for the Los Angeles Lakers, is currently the oldest active player in the NBA. Remarkably, he is navigating his impressive 22nd professional season. However, recent reports suggest that his statistical performance this year is not aligning with expectations.
Recent reports from Basketball Forever on X (formerly Twitter) indicate that James has missed 20 consecutive three-pointers over the last four games. While James is renowned for his dunking skills rather than his three-point shooting abilities, this report has garnered significant attention. Fans are expressing their thoughts in the comments section of the Basketball Forever post.

A sports enthusiast boldly compared James to Michael Jordan, stating, “At the same age, Michael Jordan made a single 3 point shot over 42 games. Not a single 3 pointer for 36 straight games.”

LeBron James Reflects On Essential Adjustments Needed
The Lakers narrowly defeated the Utah Jazz 105-104 at the Delta Center. With this victory, the Lakers have climbed to the 6th spot in the Western Conference standings, boasting a record of 12 wins and 8 losses. Following the game, James discussed the adjustments he needs to make under head coach JJ Redick’s guidance.
“This is the lowest usage rate of my career, so it’s definitely been an adjustment. Tonight felt a little bit more, obviously, with AR and D’Lo out. The ball handling and responsibilities heightens more, and I had to do that today. It felt like normal for myself, but the way we want to play this year is a little bit different, and I’m adjusting to it as well.” James said.
Although he will celebrate his 40th birthday this month, James continues to defy age with remarkable performances. Recently, the all-time points leader achieved yet another significant milestone in his illustrious career.
