LeBron James Shows No Signs of Slowing Down at 39
King James, currently holding the all-time scoring record, is the oldest player currently active in the NBA. However, the 39-year-old star player is showing no signs of aging on the basketball court. Throughout the 2023-24 season, James delivered back-to-back dominating performances. Despite his efforts, the Lakers were eliminated in the first-round playoff series against the Denver Nuggets. According to StatMuse, the Lakers’ star player averaged 25.7 points, 8.3 assists, and 7.3 rebounds in 71 games this season. He was selected to play in his twentieth All-Star game.
James was very excited after the Lakers drafted his son, Bronny James, with the 55th overall pick in the second round of the NBA draft. Many NBA analysts and fans have been giving their opinions on the Lakers’ decision, with some praising it and others criticizing it. Recently, Rachel Nichols made some bold predictions for Bronny James’s future in the NBA. However, LeBron James did not like those predictions and responded differently.
