LeBron James recently achieved another milestone by winning his third career gold medal at the Paris Olympics and earning the tournament MVP award. This success, which marked his final Olympic appearance, led James to give the team a new nickname to celebrate their unbeaten Olympic record.
Despite his many accomplishments on the basketball court, LeBron is eager to prove himself in new arenas. During an appearance on “The Shop” podcast, he was asked about his potential to excel in another sport. The 6’9″ NBA star expressed his interest in long jump and high jump.
“Compete in, like, how much time are you going to give me? Maybe the long jump. I think I could do the long jump, maybe, or the high jump,” James replied.
The Los Angeles Lakers big man acknowledged that he would need significant preparation to excel in these events.
“If you give me some time. I need about six months, eight months, or whatever preparation to get to that,” James added.
