Los Angeles Lakers star and new NBA all-time leading scorer LeBron James may have revealed what he plans to do as far, as his future in basketball is concerned, during the All-Star Game on Sunday night.
LBJ, now 38, is having a monstrous season on a personal front, averaging 30 points per game, and isn’t showing many signs of his age catching up. Having overtaken Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, LeBron might be keen on distancing himself further at the top, so he might stick around for a few more seasons. Yet it appears his main motivation is playing alongside his son Bronny.
The four-time MVP was on show during the first half of Sunday’s All-Star Game and, while Mic’d Up, was heard saying, “I gotta slow down. Done. Couple more years.”
Of course, this might not have been accidental and LeBron might not care to hide plans for his future. After all, he’s made no secret of wanting to still be around when/if Bronny gets drafted. A teammate has also claimed that Bron’s told him he plans to play for another 5-7 years.
