Another day, and yet another devastating mass shooting in America.
Fourteen children and one adult have been killed in a mass shooting at a Texas elementary school, Texas Governor Greg Abbott confirmed in a press conference. This shooting comes just one week after a mass shooting in Buffalo.
In both shootings, both shooters were teenagers.
This is the biggest story going on right now, so everybody is commenting on it, including LeBron James.
The Lakers superstar took to Twitter and called for a change shortly after the shooting.
“There simply has to be change!” the Los Angeles Lakers superstar said just minutes after the tragedy happened. “HAS TO BE!!”

Gov. Greg Abbott identified the shooter as 18-year-old Salvador Romas. He was killed by officers. According to the governor, the shooter abandoned his car and entered the elementary with a handgun and possibly a riffle. Abbott added that two responding officers were also struck by rounds but have no serious injuries.
“What happened in Uvalde is a horrific tragedy that cannot be tolerated in the state of Texas,” Abbott said. “He shot and killed — horrifically, incomprehensibly — 14 students, and killed a teacher. Mr. Romas, the shooter, he himself is deceased and is believed that responding officers killed him.”
“When parents drop their kids off at school, they have every expectation to know that they’ll be able to pick their child up when that school day ends,” Abbott added. “There are families that are in mourning right now, and the state of Texas are in mourning with them.”
