LeBron James has sent a message to Anthony Davis following the blockbuster trade that is set to shake up the NBA landscape.
James and Davis are no longer teammates after playing five-and-a-half seasons together for the Los Angeles Lakers and winning a championship in 2020.
Davis was traded to the Dallas Mavericks in a shocking deal that has seen the Lakers acquire Luka Doncic to pair LBJ up with yet another superstar-caliber player in what could be his final season as a pro.
According to reports, James had no idea a trade was even in the works and found out about it while at dinner with his family late Saturday night.
The four-time NBA champion has since taken to Instagram to share a message with his former teammate, telling him to “Go crazy over there”!
James also expressed affection for the 10-time All-Star, telling him, “Love you my dog,” as part of the caption to a photo showing them hugging, adding a sad, crying emoji.
