NBA superstar LeBron James has broken his silence following his son Bronny’s medical ordeal earlier this week.
Bronny, 18, collapsed during practice at USC on Monday due to cardiac arrest and had to be rushed to the ICU.
James has since taken to Twitter to thank fans for their support in the wake of the worrying news, insisting that his family is “doing great.”
“I want to thank the countless people sending my family love and prayers,” he wrote. “We feel you and I’m so grateful. Everyone doing great. We have our family together, safe and healthy, and we feel your love.”
LBJ also promised that the family will have more to say when they are ready.
Bronny’s recovery timeline is unknown as he is to undergo further testing. It’s also unclear what caused his heart to stop.
