The Los Angeles Lakers superstar proved that when he reportedly took legal action against Micky Arison by blocking the potential use of the name King James for one of the Carnival Cruise Line’s ships.
Arison isn’t just a chairman of Carnival Corporation, which operates Carnival Cruise Line, he’s also the owner of the Miami Heat, James’ former team.
LeBron James is widely known as “King James,” and just about everyone knows that.
James also has applied for trademarks of his own in the past, too, including the filing of a “Taco Tuesday” trademark that was eventually denied.
