Brooklyn Nets guard Kyrie Irving took a slight shot at LeBron James on Kevin Durant’s The ETCs with Kevin Durant when he claimed that he was the best option on every team that he has played for down the stretch of games to hit clutch shots.
LeBron James clearly got wind of those comments, which is why he appeared to throw a sublte shot back at Irving while praising his current teammate, Anthony Davis.
Irving’s disdain for James seemed to be evident when he forced his way out of Cleveland, but things haven’t really gone his way ever since. The Boston Celtics played better without him on the court and advanced further in the postseason with him not on the team.
James is in the process of trying to add to his collection of rings. Irving is coming off an injury with hopes of him and Durant doing great things with the Brooklyn Nets.
