LeBron is all smiles this week.
Kelly Loeffler, a former United States senator for the state of Georgia, had been a very controversial co-owner of the WNBA’s Atlanta Dream. That has all changed in grand fashion.
Former Dream player Renee Montgomery has now purchased the team along with two real estate investors, so LeBron James decided to kick Loeffler while she was down.
Back in January, James floated the idea of putting together an ownership group to purchase the WNBA team after Loeffler caused controversy in the league having said she does not support the Black Lives Matter movement.
To make matters worse for her, Democrat Raphael Warnock defeated Loeffler in their Georgia Senate runoff earlier this year.
