The Boston Celtics and Miami Heat knelt for the national anthem Wednesday night, saying they were playing “with a heavy heart” after a violent mob was able to storm the U.S. Capitol and a Wisconsin prosecutor’s decision this week to not charge a police officer who shot a Black man last year.
Many athletes had spoken out on the riot Wednesday, except for LeBron James.
He elected to wait until the next day to deliver his strong message to what we all witnessed.
The FBI is now actively searching for a ton of people seen inside the Capitol wreaking havoc to put them rightfully behind bars for their actions.
