LeBron James has entered the league’s health and safety protocols, and he did not play in the Los Angeles Lakers’ 117-92 win over the Kings on Tuesday.
The Lakers superstar, who is vaccinated, is clearly not happy with what is going on as he has to miss several games now.
While talking to Twitter this afternoon, LeBron wrote “Something is REAL [fish emojis] going on.”
Some believe it has to do with all of the injuries going around right now, while others might think it has to do with him testing positive for COVID-19 despite being vaccinated.

James already has missed 12 of the Lakers’ 23 games because of injuries and a suspension. The team is 5-7 without him on the floor.
If a player has a confirmed positive test for COVID-19, the NBA mandates a minimum of 10 days of isolation away from his team without any physical activity. Following that, the player must undergo a cardiac screening and reconditioning in order to be cleared to return to the court.
James is averaging 25.8 points, 6.8 assists and 5.2 rebounds this season, his 19th in the NBA.
