After beating Golden State 120–94 on Wednesday night, LeBron James asked in the locker room if the lopsided game seemed weird to him, seeing as how the Warriors didn’t have Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.
LeBron felt nothing for them.
“Not when you in it,” he said. “I think when I’m watching them when I’m at home…it becomes weird then. Just seeing Klay in a suit and not seeing Steph out there. Not when you play. I played them in the Finals without Kyrie [Irving] and Kevin [Love]. So, no.”
James is referring to the Cavs losing the title in 2015 to the Warriors and LeBron playing by himself after Irving fractured his kneecap in Game 1 and Love missed the Finals after suffering a shoulder injury in the first round of the playoffs.
Cleveland lost to the Warriors in six games.
Wednesday night’s loss dropped the Warriors to 2–10, while the Lakers improved to 9–2.
