Imagine trying to guard a man like LeBron James on the court for the last 18 years…It is most definitely a daunting task, but it has nothing on being the son of the NBA legend and trying to live up to those pressure.
Bronny James seems willing to take on that pressure as the young prospect was in action on Friday night at LeBron James’ old stomping grounds of St. Vincent-St. Mary High School. LeBron could be seen giving his son pointers while on the court.
During the waning stages of the game, Bronny had the chance to be the hero in front of his father as LeBron yelled for him to get open to hit the game-winner. Unfortunately, last night was not his night as he clanked the open shot.
Willie McGee, the current athletic director for St. Vincent-St. Mary revealed what it was like to see Bronny playing in the arena that LeBron made famous.

“It takes you right back,” McGee said, via the Akron Beacon Journal. “I get that feeling often being the athletic director here, but obviously to have LeBron involved and the kids involved, to pull up and see those lines wrapped around the corner, it’s unbelievable. It takes you right back to when we played and coming to school in the morning, and the tickets going on sale after first period and seeing people lined up.”
