LaVar Ball is back with a vengeance.
After months of next to nothing as far as comments concerning the Lakers with LeBron James on the team — the CEO of Big Baller Brand came out of the woodwork talking again now that reports have surfaced that his son Lonzo Ball would be included in any trade regarding Anthony Davis.
Adding fuel to the Phoenix fire, on Tuesday, LaVar ball called into a popular Arizona sports radio show and delivered an interview that took direct shots at the Lakers and coach Luke Walton.
“Lonzo makes everybody better. That’s what he’s always did all his life. You don’t even hear of Kuzma if Lonzo don’t make him in the Las Vegas Summer League. You see every time Kuzma plays by himself?Hart,Ingram by himself? They don’t get nothing. They look raggedy.”
On Monday, he told ESPN what team he wanted his son to be traded to:
LaVar Ball tells ESPN that if Lonzo Ball is traded, he wants his son to go to Phoenix: “We want to be in LA. But if he’s traded, I don’t want Lonzo in New Orleans. Phoenix is the best fit for him. And I am going to speak it into existence.”
