It was only a matter of time before LaVar Ball would find a camera and speak his mind on the trade that sent Anthony Davis to the Lakers and his son, Lonzo, to the New Orleans Pelicans.
Earlier today, it was announced that the New Orleans Pelicans were effectively trading Davis to the Los Angeles Lakers for Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart, and three first-round picks, including the No. 4 overall pick in the 2019 draft.
Many immediately wanted to know how LaVar Ball felt about it, and he definitely unleashed his thoughts.
Davis, 26, averaged 25.9 points, 12 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 2.4 blocks per game in his seventh season. Davis still intends to sign a new contract with the Lakers when he’s eligible for free agency in 2020.
