Just when you thought Big Baller Brand was dead in the water, LaVar Ball is trying to make it a thing once again.
LaVar Ball is trying to get Kyrie Irving to come over to his company after rumors suggested that the Brooklyn Nets star would not be going back to Nike.
During an interview with a YouTuber, Ball stated, “Kyrie! Stop crying to them folks…come on over here to Big Baller Brand, you can have all the control you want!” LaVar went on to say this about the deal he would propose to Irving, “I ain’t gonna give you an endorsement deal, I’m going to give you an ownership deal.”
Irving wouldn’t take his talents to Big Baller Brand if his life depended on it.
One of many reasons why is the two of them went into a war of words over LaVar’s handling of Lonzo early in his career. The CEO of BBB took it way too far when he brought up Irving’s dead mother.

Irving has a new edition of his shoe set to debut in the fall, but that is expected to be the final year of a lucrative signature series that he has had with Nike since 2014.
Last July, Irving lashed out on social media about the design of the Nike Kyrie 8 edition of his shoe, calling it “trash” and insisting that “I have nothing to do with the design or marketing” and that “Nike plans to release it without my okay.”
Days later, Irving issued a statement apologizing for his words.
