LeBron James, the star player of the Los Angeles Lakers, demonstrated exceptional skills during the last NBA season. His outstanding efforts helped the team secure a spot in the playoffs by winning the Play-In tournament. However, they were ultimately defeated by the Denver Nuggets in the first-round series.
At the beginning of the last NBA season, James faced minute restrictions, which he found disappointing. However, his impact on the team’s performance was undeniable, and his disappointment did not hinder his overall contribution to the Lakers’ journey in the NBA season.
James was heard saying, “Two shots in 8 minutes just for cardio. I already hate this, it’s just trash” in his new Netflix series, Starting 5. The all-time points leader played only 29 minutes in the last season opener against the Denver Nuggets, which resulted in a loss.
“Yeah I know. I know ya’ll got me on f—in’ old man time percentages and sh–. Play eight minutes and sh–. Two shots in eight minutes and just getting cardio. I hate this sh– already. This shit’s garbage. You guys know I’m in better shape than everybody.” James said in the Netflix’s Starting 5 series.
The NBA’s minutes restriction rule stipulates that a player must play at least 20 minutes in a regular-season game to be officially considered as having participated in it.
LeBron James Thrilled To Hit The Court With Son Bronny
The new NBA season has started, and it will be a special one for James. He has been joined by his son, Bronny, to share the court as the first father-son duo in NBA history. This fulfills his longtime wish to play alongside his son on the same team before his retirement. After playing their first game together, James said in a post-game interview, “For a father, it means everything.”

“Be able to have moments with your son, and ultimately, to be able to work with your son… I think that’s one of the greatest things that a father can ever hope for or wish for.” James added.
It’s going to be fascinating to witness the dynamic between the father-son duo on the court and observe the impact they will have on their team and the league as a whole.
