Jeanie Buss may be on cloud nine, but the man in her life is being dragged online.
The 61 year-old Lakers president and her 52 year-old comedian Jay Mohr announced to TMZ Sports, “the couple of several years recently took their relationship to the next level after the comedian got on one knee and proposed.”
Mohr and Buss started quietly dating back in 2017 and they just announced their engagement.
Shortly after the news of their engagement broke, social media sleuths tracked down old tweets of Mohr using the N-word on Twitter. Mohr has several tweets from the past where he is talking about various topics and casually using the N-Word.

At the time of writing, there has been no comment from either Mohr or Buss.
It does not appear as though Mohr was trying to be explicitly racist or hateful, however, he is a white man saying the word and heads will certainly roll.
It will be something to keep an eye on since LeBron James plays for the team and is very vocal on every topic.
The tweets certainly put Mohr in a world of trouble, especially with the league cracking down on racial slurs. It remains to be seen if these have any repercussions on Buss in the days to come.
We are fresh off former Phoenix Suns owner Robert Sarver being exposed for repeatedly using of the N-word while he was the team’s owner. Sarver agreed to sell the Suns and Phoenix Mercury earlier this year, and just this week a sale finally went through for a whopping $4 billion.
