LeBron James reveals what advice he would give himself at age 18
After achieving the historic feat in his match against the Denver Nuggets, LeBron James did a post-game interview. In the conference, he talked about hitting the 40K career point mark as the top scorer in the NBA and expressed his feelings about it. One reporter at the conference asked Bron about the advice he would give to his 18-year-old self. The Lakers star’s eyes lit up after hearing the question and he gave a very rhetorical response to it.
“I would not tell him anything… because 18 yr. old LeBron had a great head on his shoulders… Everybody wanted to see me fail when I got in the league,” responded Bron. The “Chosen One” claimed that he was under immense pressure when he entered the league. He revealed that everyone wanted to see him fail and doubted his capabilities. While this may be his view of his life events, the fans online did not agree with him.
Fans brutally mocked LeBron
The fans were not satisfied with LeBron’s statements about everyone wanting to see him fail. They flooded the comment sections of posts on social media with quick-witted mockery to counter the four-time NBA champion. One fan commented, “Literary no one wanted to see him fail. That only started after he left for Miami to build a superteam cause he couldn’t get it done without one. He’s just lying, as usual.” This above comment claims that LeBron James is lying about people wanting to see him fail from the very start of his career. He highlighted that the hate towards the Lakers star started when he moved to the Miami Heat to join a superteam, leaving the Cavs behind.

Another fan commented, “Please stop with the Cap. Nobody wanted to see LeBron fail when he came into the league. The hate started when he formed his superteam in Miami and did the not 1, not 2…not 7 championships riff.” He highlighted that the hatred for Bron started when he became a part of the super team and claimed that the Heat would win seven championships in his time there. This obviously did not happen, as Bron won two rings with the Heat and moved back to the Cavaliers.
