Anthony Davis is using his time off to his advantage, but not in the way Lakers fans were hoping.
The Lakers fell short of the postseason and play-in tournament with a 33-49 record. It was in large part because Davis missed roughly half of the season with knee and foot injuries.
On the “Nuke Squad” YouTube vlog that was posted Friday, Davis said he hadn’t shot a basketball since playing his final game on April 5.
After being sidelines for six weeks, Davis would return for the final three games. He put up 72 points and 34 rebounds in those three contests, but they all resulted in losses.
He averaged 23.2 points, 9.9 boards, and 2.3 blocks in 40 games all season.
