This really shouldn’t be shocking, because whenever an insanely popular celebrity dies, there are thousands of people looking to make a quick dollar off of the tragedy.
Such was the case when Staples Center handed out hundreds of Kobe memorial t-shirts to fans before the game in memory of the Lakers legend who passed away in a helicopter crash on Sunday alongside his 13-year-old daughter Gianna and seven others.
Soon after the game, a bunch of people took to eBay and put their free memorial shirt up for sale for hundreds of dollars.

As you can see, the various prices listed are simply ridiculous, not to mention how terrible it is that people are trying to profit off of a guy they claim to have so much love for.
