There are certain words that Lakers fans hate the most and they usually begin with Anthony Davis being hurt again.
Davis has been the catalyst behind the surprising success the Los Angeles Lakers have enjoyed during the postseason. After helping the Lakers sneak into the playoffs through the play-in round, he led the way with a dominant first-round series against the Memphis Grizzlies.
He has also helped the team with a 3-1 lead over the Golden State Warriors, but things changed for the worst on Wednesday night. The Lakers are faced with the very real possibility of needing to finish the series without him. In the fourth quarter on Wednesday, Davis was hit in the head by the forearm of Warriors big man Kevon Looney.
Davis wouldn’t play another minute in the game.
ESPN reported that Davis’ parents visited him in the training room, as did Lakers executive Rob Pelinka and Davis’ agent, Rich Paul.
All of that was enough for fans to start losing their minds.

The Los Angeles Lakers could be without star center Anthony Davis when they host the Golden State Warriors in Game 6.
For now, the exact nature of the injury Davis suffered has not been disclosed. All the Lakers can do is hope that the injury isn’t severe enough to keep him out of the rest of the series.
Game 6 of Lakers vs. Warriors will be played on Friday, May 12. The game will be held at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
