Carmelo did everything he could to repair his marriage, only to screw it all up again.
Last month, damning photos surfaced showing Carmelo Anthony on a Yacht with a bikini-clad woman that wasn’t his wife while vacationing in France. The rumors got so out of control that Melo would send out a video and deny everything while letting the public know that the woman was on the Yacht with her husband.
“The only reason I’m addressing this is because this is affecting my family now and you got me out here looking crazy,” Anthony told TMZ. “Usually I won’t address this, but I had to address this … Can’t let this one slide, because this shit ain’t cool no more.”
Social media quickly found that woman and it revealed she wasn’t married at all.
Just when the hoopla started to die down, People is now reporting that La La taking steps to get legal separation from her husband, Carmelo Anthony, after he was seen on a yacht with another woman.
As La La and Carmelo have been living apart for quite some time, La La is proceeding with legal discussions as the next step in their relationship,” a representative for the Power star says in a statement to PEOPLE.

It was just in February when La La spoke about their reconciliation during an interview with Hollywood Life.
“I think that marriages are hard and I always see whoever tells you different, they’d be lying,” she said. “I’ve been with my husband for 14 years now, so if you think you’re going to go through 14 years without no bumps or bruises in the road, you’re fooling yourself. It’s about how you respond to it and sometimes things happen just to make the unit stronger and help you guys grow. And I think that’s been the case for us…we’re still working through some things but I’m happy to be in a much better place right now.”
Carmelo has to deal with his personal life being in shambles all while hoping that a team will sign him so he could continue his NBA career.
