Charles Barkley is a wise man when it comes to talking about the NBA. He has had a great career in the league and has proven his worth over the years. Since the start of this season, Barkley has been supporting the Clippers and has even called them the scariest team in the Western Conference.
However, in a recent conversation on NBA on TNT, Barkley got behind the Dallas Mavericks abandoning the Clippers. The Mavs will face the Clippers for the third time in a playoff series expected to start on April 20 or 21. The Inside the NBA crew were discussing the matchup of the two teams and were expressing their opinion on players and their current performances.

When it was Barkley’s turn to speak, he immediately pointed out that he had been on the Clippers bandwagon for the entire season but couldn’t guarantee their victory if matched against the Mavericks. “I have been on the Clippers bandwagon all year… I never know which Clippers team is gonna show up but I do know one thing about the Mavs… Kyrie & Luka are gonna score on anybody,” said Charles Barkley.
Barkley highlighted that the Clippers have been inconsistent in their performances. Although they have a defensive advantage over the Mavs with players like Paul George and Kawhi Leonard on their team, their inconsistency on the court hurts them. He pointed out that Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving are scoring monsters who can exploit those inconsistencies and win the game for their team.
Charles Barkley once predicted the Clippers to beat the Nuggets
Earlier this season, NBA Icon Charles Barkley had predicted that the Los Angeles Clippers were among the very few teams in the league who stood a chance of beating the Denver Nuggets this year. He was doing a Q & A segment on Inside the NBA and came a question that asked him about a team that could beat the Nuggets.

Chuck named the Los Angeles Clippers as his answer to the question. He explained that the Clippers were a great team this season with a healthy Kawhi Leonard on board with them. Barkley called them the “Scariest” team in the Western Conference and praised Kawhi as a top-five player when he is healthy.
