Kyrie Irving has fans losing it after showing off a new look that isn’t so new on social media.
The Dallas Mavericks point guard has mostly worn a beard over the course of his NBA career after going with the clean-shaven look while playing for the Duke Blue Devils.
Uncle Drew has gone back to being beardless this offseason, having shown off a clean face to his followers on Instagram this week. First, he posted a “before” picture in which he showed off a neat stache, then he showed off the “after,” which he captioned “Needed to let it go.”

This isn’t Kyrie’s first beardless rodeo, however. He went clean during the 2017 preseason and, that same year, he appeared at a press conference for the Boston Celtics without facial hair.
We can’t be sure he’ll keep on like this heading into the season, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
Kyrie, one of the most controversial players in the NBA, teamed up with Luka Doncic in Dallas this year and has since extended with the team as he looks to add a second championship to his CV.
