Kyrie Irving is one of those free agents that many people expect to leave his original location and end up somewhere else, especially how the final season turned out for him.
While many will point to how the season turned out, Jackie MacMullan is painting a picture of a guy who just doesn’t like the city of Boston nor living it.
“The part of the thing is Kyrie Irving didn’t like Boston,” said MacMullan on The Hoop Collective Podcast. “I’ve been told this by many people. He didn’t like living in Boston. He just didn’t. By the end, he had issues with Brad (Stevens). By the end he had issues with Danny (Ainge). By the end he had issues with pretty much all of us.”
Irving is widely expected to sign with the Brooklyn Nets, but if the recent reports are true, they may pass on him if they can’t sign Kevin Durant as well.
