Last night got even worse for the Golden State Warriors when Klay Thompson went down with an injury and headed to the locker room for treatment. He would soon return back to the floor for two free throws and would jog up the court to show he was ready to play.
After watching what happened with Kevin Durant the previous game, the team was taking no chances and took him out. Following the Game 6 loss, it was revealed that he had actually torn his ACL and would have a long recovery time ahead of him.
While the entire sports world showed their support for Thompson on social media, Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma took the Twitter troll approach.
Kuzma went as far as to say the injury to Thompson is “karma” because of past injury history going in Golden State’s favor.
“This was karma from the spurs series when kawhi got hurt vs the warriors. Sucks to say.”
Two years ago, Kawhi Leonard suffered an ankle injury against the Warriors that kept him out of the series and ultimately caused the chaos between him and the Spurs which put him on the Raptors to come back and beat them in 2019.

Still, Kuzma felt the heat from that Tweet.
Two hours later, he would change his tune once he heard the news about Klay’s ACL.
Too late, the damage was already done.
