The 14k gold-and-diamond ring Kobe Bryant gifted his mom 20 years ago just sold for a crazy amount of money.
$206,080 is what it went for, according to TMZ Sports.
To commemorate his first championship win, Kobe bought two identical rings for his parents for the 1999-2000 season.
The two sides had a major falling out around 2013 when Pamela Bryant tried to sell the rings as well as a bunch of other Kobe memorabilia, which he ultimately tried sued to try and stop from happening.
“Our relationship is shit,” Bryant told ESPN.
“I say [to them], ‘I’m going to buy you a very nice home, and the response is ‘That’s not good enough’?” he says. “Then you’re selling my shit?”
Kobe ultimately agreed to allow his parents to sell 6 items that included the rings and his parents racked in $280K from a private collector. After his death, that private collector went to Goldin Auction to see what they could get for the rings, and as expected, the value skyrocketed.

The minimum bid was $15,000 — and after 20 total bids, it sold for $206k.
The ring Kobe gave his father, Joe “Jellybean” Bryant, is expected to hit the auction block soon.
