On Thursday, the New York Knicks decided once again to put all of there hope into the offseason and land a big free agent after they traded all-star Kristaps Porzingis to the Dallas Mavericks in a crazy 7-player deal.
Porzingis met with Knicks management on Thursday to express his concern with the losing culture of the 10-40 team. An hour later, he was shipped to Dallas.
The deal brought back two future first-round picks, Dennis Smith Jr. and two veterans on expiring contracts in Wesley Matthews and DeAndre Jordan.
You want to know how crazy that trade was? It was so unlikely that even NBA 2K wouldn’t allow it.
