On Thursday, there was a report that stated the injured Kristaps Porzingis had a meeting with the powers to be with the New York Knicks about the direction of the team and his frustration with the losing culture. It was also reported that it seemed Kristaps wanted to be traded.
Less than an hour later, the Knicks were in talks with the Mavericks, and before you knew it, he was headed to Dallas in a crazy 7-player deal.
Knicks fan base became enraged as the team has seemingly been in rebuild mode for quite some time, and showing no signs of progression. That anger somehow turned racial for one fan.
A Knicks fan named Vin from Babylon, New York called into WFAN on Friday and not only expressed his displeasure with Kristaps being traded, but it hurt him deeply because he likes cheering for White guys.
