Fake Klay Thompson will never be seen in Chase Center for the remainder of his life.
Dawson Gurley, a Klay Thompson look-alike who goes by the moniker Fake Klay Thompson, was spotted outside of Chase Center before Monday’s Game 5 of the NBA Finals. He purchased tickets but was unable to watch the game because he is no longer allowed in the arena.
Hours before the start of Game 5, Gurley posted a series of tweets saying that he’d been banned for life from the Warriors’ home arena because he was let into the arena by security guards and shot around on the court for 10 minutes.
Eventually, security realized their screw-up, and kicked him out, but not before banning him for life.
