Championship parades are becoming a frequent event in the Bay Area as the Golden State Warriors recently won their fourth title in an eight year span. Things can get quite chaotic when you have thousands of fans lining the streets, with many of the patrons enjoying an adult beverage or two.
It’s just not the fans partaking, however, as the players tend to be the ones partying the hardest, often for several days after achieving the ultimate team goal. This year it appears as though Klay Thompson gets the award for party MVP.
First, Thompson was caught on camera stumbling for several steps before barreling over a poor, unsuspecting woman.
Soon after that mishap, Klay dropped one of his Championship rings from a previous year into a sea of confetti on the ground. Luckily for him, he was able to retrieve it quickly and continue on his way.
The look of relief on his face says it all.

Klay appears to be having the time of his life at this year’s parade and it is well deserved.
After tearing his ACL in the 2019 NBA Finals and then rupturing his achilles prior to the 2020-21 season, Thompson missed over two years of game action. He returned mid-way through this season and was an integral part to the Warriors’ title run.
Party on, Klay. You earned it!
