Kevin Garnett isn’t one to hold back as he is one of the greatest trash talkers the NBA has ever seen.
The Lakers are currently searching for their next Head Coach as whomever that person is will have a tall task in dealing with an aging roster, getting the team competitive enough to get in the playoffs and figuring out what to do with the likes of Russell Westbrook this offseason.
Posting on his Instagram story, Garnett wrote, “Man are the Lakers serious? They not serious about trying to better the situation with that list of coaches.”
The NBA Hall of Famer continued to slam the list of candidates who could potentially replace the fired Frank Vogel.
“FOH [get the f–k out of here],” he added. “They serious? Nah they not serious! They serious.”
The Lakers have a finalist list of Milwaukee Bucks assistant Darvin Ham, Golden State Warriors assistant Kenny Atkinson and former Portland Trail Blazers coach Terry Stotts.

According to Marc Stein, the Lakers “have not completely abandoned hope” that Rivers could unexpectedly become available, but nothing the 76ers have done suggests that is going to happen.
“I just think he’s a great coach. I love working with him,” 76ers president of basketball operations Daryl Morey said of Rivers. “I feel like I’m learning from him. I think Elton [Brand] and I and him make a great team and we’re going to see where this journey takes us. But we feel very good about where it’s going to take us. It’s going to be where we have a very good chance to win a title.”
University of Michigan coach Juwan Howard recently declined a Los Angeles Lakers overture for the franchise’s coaching job, electing to remain at his alma mater, where Howard will coach his two sons next season.
