The Brooklyn Nets security official who intervened during a scuffle between Kevin Durant and Bucks forward P.J. Tucker in Game 3 will no longer be allowed to work any of the series’ remaining games in Milwaukee, a league spokesperson told ESPN’s Tim Bontemps.
Aside from that, he also won’t be assigned to court duties for any games in Brooklyn.
During that third quarter altercation, Durant became upset over something Tucker did, so they got in each other’s faces as the security guard rushed onto the court before emphatically shoving Tucker away, which angered him. It was later reported to be Durant’s personal bodyguard, and he’s also on the team’s payroll, according to The Athletic’s Joe Vardon.
Bucks won Game 3 to get back into the series. They will host the Nets again for Game 4 of their Eastern Conference semifinal on Sunday before the series returns to Brooklyn for Game 5.
