When Kevin Durant bolted from the OKC Thunder to sign with the Golden State Warriors, his relationship with Russell Westbrook went down the drain with it.
Rumors would swirl over the next few months to years that Durant wasn’t too keen on playing alongside Westbrook because of his style of play. Back in 2017, one Twitter user tweeted at Durant, “give me one legitimate reason for leaving okc other than getting a championship.”
Durant, forgetting to log into his fake account, replied using his real account, “Kd can’t win a championship with those cats.”
Fast forward to 2019 and now Durant’s closest friends and “brand ambassador” Randy Williams is now taking shots openly at Westbrook.
On Instagram, Williams took to Instagram and wrote a lengthy comment directed at the OKC point guard after Paul George requested a trade after two seasons alongside the MVP.
