Every championship team requires a captain who enjoys being in the thick of things on the pitch. Thus, basketball fans just anticipated a complete offensive domination when the Phoenix Suns assembled the most skilled backcourt this offseason in Devin Booker, Kevin Durant, and Bradley Beal.
To complement one another on the court, the three players have harmonized. As such, Bradley Beal, their most recent addition, affects the game that goes past the stat sheet. Beal’s presence on the field creates opportunities for KD, Booker, and even league leader Grayson Allen. Additionally, the Suns’ starting lineup shoots close to 50% from three when he is handing out assists.
However, Bradley Beal’s offensive stick is shorter as a result of his sacrifices. And after Bradley’s seven-point performance against Cleveland, Kevin Durant wants him to step up, based on his remarks at the news conference following the game.
Durant acknowledged Beal after the game for helping the team score more points. He said, “Brad’s done a good job of making the extra pass, getting into the lane, finding guys. We actually want him to be more aggressive.”

Bradley Beal Has Solid Stats but Has More Potential
While Bradley Beal is doing his job well, he may need a little more effort in other areas. As per the NBA Website he had 7 points on 3 of 9 shooting tonight, along with assists, 1 turnover, and 6 rebounds.

Over the previous ten games, Bradley Beal has averaged 12.5 points, 7.0 assists, and 4.8 rebounds. With repeated single-digit scores along the stretch, his biggest total in the previous 10 matches came against the Bucks. Beal scored twenty-eight points in the March 17th game, shooting 11-15 from the field for a 73.3% clip.
Their squad is currently tied with the Pelicans for the sixth automatic playoff place in the West Conference after this victory. Durant scored 32 points, while Booker scored a game-high 40 points.
Bradley Beal’s offensive output in 2023 is the lowest it has been in the previous nine years. It is still a long way from casting doubt on the shooting guard’s ability to shoot up to 30 points per game, though.
