In an appearance on the “How Hungry Are You?” with Serge Ibaka, Kevin Durant was asked who he thinks is better player – Steph Curry or Russell Westbrook?
The two-time NBA champion forward, who has played alongside both players, hesitated before he ultimately chose Curry and explained why.
“Who is a better player: Stephen Curry or Russell Westbrook?,” Toronto Raptors big man Serge Ibaka asked Durant on his cooking show.
“Stephen Curry,” Durant said.
When asked why he felt that way, Durant responded, “Cuz he can shoot better.”
Curry has career averages of 23.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 6.6 assists while being a two-time MVP and three-time champion.

Westbrook, who has averaged a triple-double three years in a row, has career numbers of 23.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 8.4 assists.
As for Durant, the Brooklyn Nets small forward isn’t expected to take the floor at all for his new team as he is still recovering from his Achilles tear.
