Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook were one of the best duos in the entire league during their time together with the OKC Thunder. It ended badly when Kevin Durant left the team in free agency to join the Golden State Warriors, the same team that had just eliminated his squad in the playoffs.
During a recent appearance on the “Million Dollaz Worth Of Game” podcast with hosts Gillie Da King and Wallo267, he was asked to name the top-5 players that he has played with in his career, and somehow left off Russell Westbrook.
- Kyrie Irving
- James Harden
- Stephen Curry
- Klay Thompson
- Serge Ibaka
“I’m gonna go … I’m gonna go with Serge Ibaka.”
Immediately, the two hosts of the show were taken aback. “I thought somebody else.”

“I forgot somebody?” Durant asked.
The reminded him of Westbrook.
“Oh, (expletives), I am tripping. Russ, yeah,” Durant said. “I did forget about Russ. Russ would definitely be in the top five.”
Durant removed Ibaka from the list immediately.
“I’m glad you called me out on that,” he said.
