In 2018 the Arizona Cardinals were in need of a new starting quarterback, so they selected Josh Rosen out of UCLA with the number 10 overall pick in the NFL Draft. Despite being such a high pick, Rosen lasted just one year in the desert and is considered to be one of the bigger busts in recent memory.
Shortly after the draft, outspoken sports media personality Colin Cowherd stated on several occasions, that he believed that Rosen was the “steal of the draft” and “a franchise quarterback”. He even compared him to Aaron Rodgers at one point.
Cowherd seems to have a short memory, because he recently released a video patting himself on the back with his recent predictions regarding NFL quarterbacks. And during his rant, he stated that he was correct with his assessment of Rosen being “overdrafted”
That is hilarious. Cowherd probably never expected someone to have all those dirty receipts of his. He must have forgotten that the internet never forgets.
